ABOUT
Textures from
the real world.
Texture Library is an independent collection of original high-resolution texture photography, created for artists, designers, developers and anyone who needs interesting surfaces for creative work.
01
The library
Texture Library is a growing archive of high-resolution photographs of materials, surfaces and details found in the world around us.
The aim is simple: make useful, high-quality texture photography freely available for creative projects.
The collection includes materials such as concrete, brick, wood, metal, stone, fabric, ground surfaces and organic textures, with new photographs added over time.
02
The photography
Every texture in the library begins as an original photograph of a real surface or material.
The photographs are captured at high resolution so they can be useful across a wide range of applications, from small graphic elements to detailed 3D materials and large-format artwork.
The texture photography in the library is not AI-generated. What you see starts with something that exists in the real world.
03
The idea
Interesting textures are everywhere: weathered walls, damaged paint, rusted metal, old timber, cracked concrete and thousands of surfaces that are easy to walk past without noticing.
Texture Library exists to collect those details and turn them into a useful, searchable archive for creative work.
Rather than building a collection around quantity alone, the goal is to create an archive that is straightforward to browse, easy to download from and genuinely useful.
