01
Personal and commercial use
You may use textures downloaded from Texture Library in both personal and commercial creative projects.
This includes projects such as video games, 3D models and environments, illustrations, graphic design, animation, film, websites, advertising and printed work.
02
Modification
You may modify the textures however you need for your project. This includes cropping, resizing, recolouring, combining, painting over, converting or generating derived texture maps.
You may also create materials such as normal, roughness, height or displacement maps from the downloaded images.
03
Products you sell
You may include the textures as part of a larger creative work that you sell or distribute.
For example, a texture may appear on an object inside a commercial game, within a rendered scene, as part of an illustration or within a graphic design.
The texture must form part of a larger creative work and must not simply be redistributed as the original texture file.
04
Redistribution
You may not sell, share, upload or redistribute the original texture files, or substantially equivalent copies of them, as standalone assets.
You may not include the textures in another texture library, stock-image collection, asset pack or downloadable texture bundle.
05
Attribution
Attribution is not required.
If you would like to credit Texture Library, you're very welcome to, but it is entirely optional.
06
AI and machine learning
The original texture files may not be collected, scraped, downloaded or otherwise used as training data for artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models without prior permission.
07
Copyright
Copyright in the original photographs remains with Texture Library and the photographer.
This licence gives you permission to use the photographs under the terms described on this page. It does not transfer ownership of the original photographs to you.
08
No warranty
Textures are provided as-is, without warranties or guarantees of any kind.
You are responsible for determining whether a texture is suitable for your particular project or use.
Use the textures freely in your creative work, including commercial projects. Modify them however you like. Just don't redistribute or sell the texture files themselves as textures or use them to build another texture dataset.
